Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Expert in Milan, Italy

Your Role

For our Milan Office we are looking for an Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Expert S/he will support capacity and pricing procurement for regular as well as ad hoc business and trade lanes by ensuring Carrier Management is a key factor in gaining and retaining customers, always in alignment with policy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lay out a procurement plan for assigned area of responsibility in alignment with larger initiatives

  • Evaluate current carrier share for key trade lanes, recommending optimization measures to maximize corecarrier share

  • Evaluate opportunities to consolidate current volumes to achieve better yields and help optimize ANR, layingthe foundation for future business development opportunities

  • Evaluate carrier metrics and ensure volume allocations are in line with targets to support PCP programsuccess

  • Monitor and push for maximization of volumes via our Gateways, to achieve better consol benefits as well assupporting cost management.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 5 / 10 years of experience in Air Logistics

  • Intermediate English is a must-have
