Description

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our client's receivables process efficiently and accurately. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for handling a high volume of transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely collections. The Accounts Receivable Specialist position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a proactive approach are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of customer invoices accurately and promptly.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.

• Monitor accounts for overdue payments and initiate collection efforts as necessary.

• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.

• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.

• Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

• Experience handling high volume transactions in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of account reconciliation principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software required.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
