Teradata Software Engineer Intern in Mexico City, Mexico

Our Mexico Intern program lasts 12-16 weeks beginning in September and ending in February. This opportunity is within the Teradata product engineering team, which works with our main products such as, VantageCloud Lake, DataMover, QueryGrid and Teradata AI Unlimited. We develop core product, enhance processes, and more!

Who You'll Work With

You will work with the Teradata product engineering team.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and creative current undergrad or graduate student who is eager to work on new technologies and can contribute to the success of Teradata. Also have class, work or independent experience with programming fundamentals, Python/Java coding experience, database fundamentals, Git, and agile methodologies.

  • Must be enrolled in BS degree program, Computer science or similar

  • Programming principles, data structures, algorithms, data bases, good programming skills.

  • Proficient in English.

  • Enrolled in your last semesters, with graduation date in 2025.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills.

What You Will Bring

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Coursework or Experience with SQL

  • Experience with a programming language: Python, Java, C/C++, AngularJs, etc.

  • Interest in developing testing skills, including automation testing.

  • Experience with cloud computing: AWS, Azure, GCP.

  • Experience with virtualization: VMware

  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Experience using Jira and Confluence

  • Comfortable working on a Linux system.

  • Experience with Git and/or Jenkins.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
