The position

The Junior Business Consultant assists in communicating with internal and external business partners as well as IT-colleagues. In his role the BC helps to identify and solve business challenges using flexible and new ways of working whenever appropriate supporting our local and global customers for a defined business area facing low and medium complexity. In contributing to the creation and management of the right amount of IT support the BC helps to deliver customer value and infusing new technology when applicable. The required consultancy skillset is developed through activities related to Demand Managements, Project Managements und Service Delivery.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Supports a direct & consistent customer relation with local & global customers up to middle management to influence business decisions in scope of GSAH Eng.

• Develops subject matter expertise of defined domain area, including understanding of and practical experience in key business processes supported.

• Develops awareness of cross-functional interdependencies with important global business processes not limited to own area of responsibility.

• Addresses areas of improvement identified by more senior members of the team and works in close collaboration with stakeholders.

• Supports implementation of innovations as applicable.

• Contributes to realization of AH GS strategy and identifies necessary business decisions.

Requirements

• At least Brchelor degree in Computer Science, (Business) Information Technology or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience.

• 2 or more years of experience in SAP implementation projects and the modules corresponding to the function (PP and MM).

• Experience in business processes.

• Demonstrated success in managing moderate programs & projects.

• Good communication skills.

• High level understanding of: Methods used for system design, -development and -implementation, All phases of project lifecycle and -implementation, Validation and compliance requirements.

• Good knowledge of Project management tools (MS Project or similar).

• Willingness to develop technical skills.

• First experience in analytical problem solving in business environments.

• Understanding how to design, set up and execute agile projects for software product development & delivery.

• Relevant experience in project management or business consultancy in IT, automation, or data science.

• First experience in delivering small to medium sized projects.

• Good communication capability, creating & maintaining business relations and working with business partners, vendors, developers, legal and compliance functions.

• LANGUAGE- Advanced Spanish- English B2 (conversation, reading and writing).

• OTHERS- Availability to travel (10%).
