Job Title: Aluminum MIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aluminum MIG Welder to oversee and perform welding processes for MIG & TIG. The ideal candidate will ensure all welds meet the highest standards and demonstrate advanced welding techniques.
Responsibilities
Perform and supervise advanced welding techniques, such as multi-pass welding and pipe welding on complex processes.
Design and fabricate metal parts, components, and assemblies based on blueprints, drawings, or project specifications.
Mentor and train less experienced welders, providing guidance and support to improve skills.
Inspect completed welds for strength, durability, and quality, performing tests as needed.
Maintain welding equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex welding issues, adjusting techniques and settings as required.
Work closely with leadership, engineers, and other trades to ensure welding work meets specifications and timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations at all times.
Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.
Essential Skills
Extensive experience with welding aluminum.
Proficiency in MIG welding using a wire-fed machine.
Experience with welding both aluminum and carbon steel, particularly thinner gauged steel.
Expert knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and specialized welding methods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of experience in welding, with extensive experience in fabrication work.
Proven leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring welding teams.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
The work environment includes the following ADA physical, mental, and workplace requirements: Able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required, able to climb portable ladders, and use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required. The role also requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Mesa, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00
