Job Purpose and Impact

The Grains Planner will coordinate Integrated Business Planning operations ensuring clear communication across the business. In this role, you will work with Supply Chain, Trading & Risk Management, Grainflow and other areas of the business to develop, communicate and monitor supply plans and forecasts, ensuring assets are utilised, costs are minimised, and maximising value for stocks.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Integrated Business Planning with a focus on continuous improvement of processes.

• Provide detailed allocations to other Supply Chain teams in a timely manner.

• Identify areas of arbitrage through more efficient supply chains and improved asset utilisation.

• Continually look to improve supply chains and challenge the status quo.

• Develop and monitor harvest buying plans.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• University qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Agribusiness or a related industry.

• Minimum 2 years operational experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in an agribusiness environment gaining general grain and oilseed product commodity knowledge and knowledge of trade flows, freight and bulk handling systems.

• Intermediate to Advanced competency in Excel
