Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We have an industrial maintenance opening with a lot of opportunities to grow! This role requires either schooling or 1-3 years of industrial maintenance background (not operations). Familiarity with AC and DC electrical controls and PLC knowledge is essential. The position involves working with AC, DC motors, drive controls, and troubleshooting. An understanding of photoelectric and proximity sensing devices and the operation and use of encoders is necessary. Candidates must be able to read meters and interpret electrical schematics. The role includes responsibilities for troubleshooting, preventative, and predictive maintenance.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 680 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to paper dust and petroleum-based materials. Candidates will work on high-speed and printing machinery and collaborate with other members of the maintenance team. Uniforms will be provided once permanent, but candidates need to bring their own tools and steel-toed boots. The position involves a night shift from 6 PM to 6:30 AM at the end of the week, working every Wednesday and Thursday and every other Friday to Sunday. The first day will start at 8 AM, and the first week will ideally run from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is based on experience, ranging from $23-30/hr with an opportunity for growth up to $34+/hr.
