Aston Carter Staff Accountant in McMinnville, Oregon

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of GL Accounting experience

• Journal Entries – Understanding of Debt/Credits

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with Acct experience

• Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas

Description:

• Prepares monthly account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

• Prepares and posts journal entries to record accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP, including full documentation.

• Records and reconciles intercompany transactions.

• Maintains depreciation, amortization, prepaid and accrual schedules.

• Researches and reconciles general ledger account issues.

• Processes electronic bank transactions.

• Continually looks for and implements process improvements.

• Ensures supervisor is regularly and promptly informed of work status and any issues for which guidance is necessary.
