Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking motivated New Grads to join our team as Applied Cyber Engineers and Cyber Operations Specialists. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that address the dynamic cyber threats faced by our sponsors. You will collaborate with experts to develop and implement innovative cyber strategies and technologies.

  • Cyber Defense Operations: Support the design and execution of strategies to defend against cyber threats and enhance resilience.

  • Offensive Cyber Capabilities: Assist in developing and testing offensive cyber tools and techniques to identify vulnerabilities and improve security.

  • Network Security: Conduct assessments and implement solutions to secure networks and protect sensitive data.

  • Threat Hunting: Engage in proactive threat hunting activities to detect and mitigate potential cyber attacks.

  • Research and Innovation: Contribute to the development of advanced cyber technologies and methodologies that enhance operational capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.

  • Graduation year of Fall 2024 or Spring of 2025.

  • Strong understanding of cyber operations, threat analysis, and risk management.

  • Knowledge of cyber security principles, tools and devices, such as WireShark, ELK, and Splunk.

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following - Java, Python, XML, HTML, C#, Objective C; database design & development including SQL.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Clearance: In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check, you may be submitted for a U.S. Government Security clearance. This is determined by the Department of Defense’s adjudicative guidelines for receiving a clearance, to include U.S. citizenship. Other jobs may require vetting for various levels of agency public trust, fitness, suitability, controlled access, and special programs access determination consistent with the work program to which you are assigned.
