POSITION OVERVIEW: Staff Accountant

Location: McLean VA (Tysons Corner)

Business Model - Onsite Mon. - Fri.

REQUIRED: TWO YEARS OF ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IN COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

The Staff Accountant reports to the Manager, Lease Administration. This position collaborates with the property management and asset teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Duties include:-

• Process Job Code Set-up Requests

• Process New Vendor Set-ups and Update Requests in Yardi

• Update Daily Cash Schedule with Monthly validation against bank reconciliations

• Identify, Research and Resolve checks over 90 days

• Post Monthly Electronic Vendor Payments and validate all transactions are posted for AP Close

• Support and Analyze Data as directed in preparing the annual 1099 filing

• Generate OT Payroll Invoices and Construction Management Fee Invoices

• Enter Monthly Tenant Billings in Yardi

• Enter Daily Tenant Cash Receipts

• Audit Employee Expenses reports to ensure proper documentation and compliance with the Company's Reimbursement polices

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -

-Some College or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

-Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Relevant experience in the commercial real estate is a plus.

-Commercial Lease Administration is a plus.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $67,000.00 per year
