Description

Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant needed for established business will handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations. You will handle the cash applications, coding, light journal entries, and other office duties.

Responsibilities

• Daily entry of AP and credit card receipts; including balancing, reconciling, and updating of accounts.

• Reconciling to vendor statements monthly

• Maintain accurate vendor information.

• Drive the timely collection

• Monitor Accounts Receivable email box and be responsive to address any questions.

• Exercising discretion and judgment to resolve customer issues, and/or work with management to achieve resolution.

• Make routine collection calls, resend customer invoices when necessary.

• Provide excellent customer service and offer a high degree of professionalism with the customers, operations and sales.

• handle customer calls and forward to appropriate party.

• Maintain accurate customer and billing information.

• Accurately complete and update all required reports for business in a timely manner.

• Handles phone and general communication for the office

• Contribute to and complete special projects as assigned.

  Requirements

  Key:

Experience with QuickBooks required

Construction or Job cost a plus

AP, AR, collections, invoicing

Understanding debits and credits

Excel skills
