Hours:

Full-Time (40) hours per week

M-F w/ Rotating weekends and holidays among team

Midnight/3rd shift

11:00pm-7:30am

Training : Day shift 7:00am – 3:30pm for approximate 3-6 weeks

About the Job

In this role, the Lab Support Service Tech will support the delivery of patient care through the receipt, processing, and routing of specimens. Provides customer friendly service to any person requesting supplies or information by phone, computer or in person. Area: Central Processing & Referred Testing Lab- Entry Level Lab position. Ideal candidate will have work related experience. Rate $20.00 per hour.

What you'll do

  • Performs assigned duties from the pre-analytical to post-analytical phases of testing according to standard operating procedures. Receives and evaluates all specimens to ensure positive identification and appropriateness of sample. Works with fellow team members to properly triage and efficiently move samples through all phases of testing.
