Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Mauldin, South Carolina. This role primarily involves managing front desk operations in a medical setting, handling inbound calls, and ensuring proper maintenance of customer records.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the front desk in a medical environment, serving as the first point of contact for patients.

• Efficiently answer and manage inbound calls, providing accurate information and redirecting calls as necessary.

• Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring optimal time management and patient satisfaction.

• Welcome patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment.

• Conduct data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records are maintained.

• Utilize basic medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare setting.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

• Continually monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Basic Medical Terminology is essential

• Must be capable of effectively Answering Inbound Calls

• Exceptional Customer Service skills are required

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize work

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must have a professional demeanor and appearance.
