Honeywell Proposal Manager in Mason, Ohio
Honeywell Intelligrated wants to hire a Proposal Manager for its Proposal Development Group to support the growing number of automation and system integration opportunities. The responsibility of the Proposal Manager is to manage the presales teams and processes to deliver successful proposals, ensuring the best opportunity for Honeywell Intelligrated to win and execute these large and oftentimes complex projects.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement proposal strategies with the Sales Account Manager and opportunity team members for all assigned opportunities
Ensure accurate records are kept aiding in the reporting of Key Performance Indicators for all assigned opportunities
Monitors and manages proposal process to include any planning and status update meetings
Ability to create deal content and present to Executive level management to obtain appropriate buy-in and deal approval
Identify, document, and develop proposal schedule and deliverables to meet key proposal milestones
Manage the proposal resources and activities to meet the proposal schedule and deliver successful on-time proposal documentation
Ability to manage proposal processes for multiple opportunities in parallel
Communicate proposal status and activities to all assigned opportunity team members, senior management and functional team managers as needed
Coordinate interdepartmental resources to complete and/or review proposals in accordance with the proposal schedule as well as customer and Honeywell Intelligrated requirements
Coordinate completion of the Order Entry Form upon receipt of customer PO or signed contract. Aid in compiling all required documentation for submittal for Order Entry
Turnover successful proposal and contract documentation to the implementation team for project execution
You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years Proposal Management experience
Strong technical writing and editing skills
Sales or sales support experience
