Cognizant has immediate opening for DFAR Technical Writer .If your background meets the requirements and skills, and looking for an opportunity, this is the ideal opportunity for you! Location: Remote Role and Responsibilities: DFAR Technical Writer 5 Years of experience in building process, procedure, and technical documentation for complex IT systems Attend client meetings to determine additional requirements and document those requirements to respective teams for implementation. Ability to quickly change priorities and handle simultaneous tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred experience: Experience working with IT engineering, architecture, and business teams to build IT documentation Experience supporting year 0 security certification projects/programs.Relevant examples include: FedRAMP StateRAMP Federal Audits - IRS Pub 1075, FERPA, etc. DFARS CMMC Less relevant but still applicable - SOC2, ISO27001 NIST Dominant English Language Experience building process, procedure, and technical documentation for complex IT systems Experience working with IT security teams or, ideally, as part of security/compliance projects Nice to have: ability to evaluate systems and identify and document IT/security process gaps Salary and Other Compensation: Application will be accepted until 3/14/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $100k - $120k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
