Dart Container Data Engineer in Mason, Michigan

We have the ability to hire at theAssociate or Mid-levelfor this position.

This position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site in Mason, MI, and up to 2 days remote.

The Associate and Data Engineer position translates business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models within the Enterprise data warehouse. This role focuses on using standard methods to prep, transform, and stage information for business consumption. This data is used for decision making and applied analytics through all levels of the organization.

Day to Day Role for Associate and Data Engineer Assist in identifying existing enterprise data inventory configurations and help articulate the requirements, technologies, connections and processes related to these components via drawings, documentation and current and future-state diagrams Work with other IT groups and architects to identify and define interfaces between data sources Work quickly to get initial data access and then more methodically to build automated, reliable ETL processes Encourage and support the consideration of sustainability and total cost of ownership factors when recommending technology choices for the enterprise Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems Assist in developing strategies for improving or further leveraging technology solutions to meet business goals Maintain technical expertise, keeping current with evolving processes, systems, and technologies Share technical knowledge and skills with IT management and colleagues Recommend training, processes, tools and resources for use in implementing and supporting new and existing enterprise data warehouse design Participate in IT projects in a data modeling role, helping to guide integration planning, implementation and validation Actively participate in design review meetings for data requirements

Core Skills and Qualifications for both Associate and Data Engineer Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to coordinate the actions of a technical team Ability to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas and solutions Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities Ability to effectively prioritize and direct the execution of tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to think strategically and see how parts interact with the big picture Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally Preferred Skills and Qualifications for both Associate and Data Engineer Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with an emphasis in information technology, computer science, or related field of study, Experience with Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure and O365 technologies) Software development experience Experience with C#, .Net, Python, Scala, PowerShell, or SQL Demonstrated success presenting technical information in a clear and concise way to technical and non-technical audiences using PowerPoint, Word and Excel Demonstrated success creating technical drawings using Visio

Additional Skills and Qualifications for Associate Data Engineer Requires one of the following: Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in information technology, computer science or related field of study, OR Associate's degree with an emphasis in information technology, computer science or related field of study and two (2) years of IT experience High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of IT experience Experience in enterprise information technology environments Experience with data warehouses and data mashups Comprehensive
