Job Description

A telecommunications client of Insight Global is looking to add a Manual/UAT Tester to their team in the Maryland Heights, MO area. This person will be responsible for enhancements and help determine user needs & requirements to improve this clients mobile product. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with daily testing execution, creating test cases, and using cases based on requirements that have been written by other teams. This team runs monthly deployments with a 3 week testing cycle, and each person is handling 10-12 mobile projects per month with a defect triage being done per project, while testing current and next project cycles at the same time. Because this team is handling multiple tasks at a time, the team is looking for someone that has worked in a fast paced environment, visible projects, and team oriented. This team sits 4 days onsite in Maryland Heights, MO and 1 floating remote day.

Skills and Requirements

-4-6 years or more of experience as a Manual/UAT Tester

-Able to interpret user stories that come from Jira

-Background using HP ALM or HP Quality Center

-Experience creating test cases in VBD format

-AdHoc Testing

-Testing with Mobile Products

-Excellent verbal and written communication (talking to executives) Telecommunications Experience null
