We currently have an opening for a Master Mechanic at our Marion, Ohio plant. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers.

The Marion, Ohio corrugated packaging facility is a Maintenance 24/7 operation. We operate on 12-hour shift rotation with a requirement to work every other weekend. It is a 2-2-3 schedule. There will be no mandatory overtime assigned but voluntary overtime may be available. This position will be 7pm to 7am.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in:

• The candidate must be proficient in all aspects of a multi-craft maintenance technician.

• The candidate should be proficient with hydraulics, welding, pipe fitting and basic technical trouble shooting and understanding mechanical machine maintenance skill set.

• Applicants should be able to read blueprints, wiring schematics, hydraulic schematics and pneumatic diagrams.

• Electrically should be able to troubleshoot AC/DC drive systems, relay controls and troubleshoot.

• Should be able to understand basic PLC ladder logic.

• Applicant must have the ability to take projects on independently and work through to completion in a timely manner, communicating with OEM support.

• Must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical drive systems

• Applicant should have a Safety First mindset and the ability to follow all safe work practices.

• Some computer skills are needed when dealing with our computerized maintenance management system, email and other systems in the facility such as SAP and researching parts for the department.

• Certified Fork truck operator/Man lift/ Aerial lift operator

Position Requirements:

• 3 years of related experience in manufacturing, corrugated industry experience is preferred but not required

• Boiler experience is a plus
