Here, you will make an impact by:Working in conjunction with USAC Sourcing to qualify and onboard new suppliers, award suppliers through RFP's and ad hoc additions.Providing market intelligence to support Sourcing negotiations with suppliers on rates, payment terms and contract terms and conditions.Delivering cost reduction and service improvement in support of broader USAC Manufacturing & Supply Chain goalsInitiating and leading value creation through optimization and efficiency projects.Conducting quarterly business reviews with major suppliersProviding Subject Matter Expertise to the development and roll out of new ERP load tendering solution.Willingness to be on-callYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.Seven (7) years of Supply Chain Operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment.Five (5) years of experience in Logistics and multi-modal relationship leadership within a combination of transportation modes - Parcel, LTL, Expedited, Cartage, 3PL & Specialized services in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelors degree in Supply ChainMasters degree in Business discipline preferredStrong analytical skills and financial acumenExcellent written & oral communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skillsAdvanced Microsoft suite skillsBusiness Transformation or SAP experience, specifically with the Transportation ModuleLogistics technology implementation experience preferred.Business Transformation or SAP experience, specifically with the Transportation ModuleLogistics technology implementation experience preferred.Work location: RemoteTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
