Here, you will make an impact by:Organizing and leading complex projects that drive process efficiencies within the organization (e.g. rebranding on drug/device packaging)Having a major impact on the direct work group/team, as well as the next higher organizational tierLeading project team which may include direct people management responsibilityMeeting the needs of Package Engineering and business groups through functional requirements analysis and presenting process solutionsWorking knowledge of packaging change management processes and ERPs (SAP)Deploying process and system solutions globally as required, as well as documenting global position statements, WIs, SOPs as necessaryApplying knowledge and expertise through leadership and advancement of global packaging solutionsBeing a subject matter expert to whom the leadership team reaches out to with regards to his/her specialization within packaging functional disciplinesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in Packaging.ORHigh School diploma from an accredited institution AND a minimum of twelve (12) years' experience in Packaging.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Thorough knowledge of theories and practices, typically applied to one or more disciplines within Package Engineering organizational areas such Client Services, Continuous Improvement, Systems, Quality, Regulatory Affairs Management Center (RAMC), Graphics Design, etcWorking knowledge of ISO 13485, cGMP, and GS1Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a master's degree or higher in computer science, manufacturing related, or information systemsFamiliarity of working with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement business functionsSkills include strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaborationKnowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is normally requiredWork location: Remote USATravel: May include up to 10% Domestic/InternationalRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
