Job Purpose This position is responsible for operating production equipment to manufacture chemical batches and for handling hazardous waste according to written procedures and maintaining required log sheets. Job Responsibilities * Operate equipment, including tanks, pumps, mixers, pH meters, level meters, flow meters, valves, and hoses to manufacture batches of chemical products. * Measures quantities of liquid and solid chemicals using scales and flow meters, and transfer the chemicals into tanks. * Locate materials in the warehouse and transport to manufacturing using a forklift. * Collect process samples and interface with laboratory personnel for analysis. * Maintain required log sheets including but limited to batch tickets, packaging sheets, scrubber operation log, pH meter calibration, and equipment inspections. * Package, mark, and label hazardous waste containers. * Adheres to all corporate, plant and safety policies/procedures. * Operate a forklift as applicable. * Perform inventory cycle counts * Other duties as assigned.
