Description:

The Controls Engineer will work on a team that involves the full project scope. This includes creating technical solutions in the areas of power & control circuits, pneumatic circuits along with programming of PLC, HMI, motion control, mechatronics, and robotics. This person will also work with manufacturing to startup, test and trouble shoot designs.

Breakdown of job duties:

30% PLC Programming

30% Electrical Design

30% Troubleshooting

10% Customer Interface

Skills:

Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, PLC, design, AutoCAD Electrical, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Packaging, Robotics, motion control, machine vision

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years' experience, or Associate's Degree with 5+ years' experience

• 3+ years' experience with PLC/HMI programming - Allen Bradley

• 3+ years' experience with Electrical Design (AutoCAD Electrical)

• Must come from a background with custom automated equipment, packaging preferred but not required

• Must have experience working with motors, drives, VFD's

• Any experience with motion controls and Robotics is nice to have

• Must be willing to travel approximately 10% of the time to perform installs and commissioning at customer sites
