Emerson Engineer I Master Engineering Structures in Mandaluyong, Philippines

The program will cover functions in Business Unit Bill of Material ERP processes such as Part and Product Code Maintenance and Obsolescence that equip and develop your proficiency and capabilities in various functions.

In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to work with global IT, engineering, manufacturing, sales and order entry, and operations teams to deliver quality parts and product code data in ERP. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To provide technical information on available or configured products based on existing engineering references and escalate if necessary.

  • To load part or product code in ERP and assign important attributes such as Code Description, Drawing, etc. based on the instruction or BOM form.

  • To update important attributes such as code description, drawing, etc. based on the instruction or BOM form.

  • To upload Engineering notes such as Assembly procedure, Technical Nameplate Information, etc. based on engineering instruction or BOM Form.

  • To create code requests or ECRs to request product codes from subsidiaries for new products or components.

  • To structure the Bill of Material based on engineering instructions or BOM Form.

  • To verify if the quotation and requested product matched.

You can proficiently communicate ideas and influence both internal and external customers. You're interpersonally savvy and able to collaborate and efficiently work with people at any level.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • At least 1.5 years of experience in handling Bill of Materials in ERP databases.

  • General knowledge of the support in the Bill of Material Part and Product Code structure and processes.

  • Strong knowledge of Product Development, Engineering Change Processes, Production methods, and systems.

  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of other ERP applications such as Oracle, Syteline, BAAN, and Fourth shift is a plus.
