Supports clients/customers and assists with functional projects under regular supervision. Has a general knowledge of the work group.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Talent Acquisition Specialist (Direct Hire Contractor) - 6 months position through November 05, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time.  

Note: This is for a 6-month employment contract.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: ​

  • Collaborates closely with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists to align on innovative strategies, business priorities, and talent needs.

  • Implements dynamic sourcing strategies to maintain a robust pipeline of top-tier candidates.

  • Leverages cutting-edge tools like Workday, Eightfold, and ServiceNow, along with advanced recruiting techniques, to identify and secure exceptional talent.

  • Provides comprehensive recruitment and selection support to diverse business units.

  • Conducts thorough behavioral interviews to ensure the best candidate fit.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder: Possesses a completed degree in any field.

  • Willing to take on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension up to 1 year: Open to a temporary employment arrangement initially set for six months, with the potential for extension of up to a maximum duration of one year. This flexibility indicates a readiness to adapt to varying project timelines and organizational requirements.

  • Immediate Availability: Candidates must be able to start immediately in the role.

  • Strong sourcing expertise in IT, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Support: Extensive experience in identifying and attracting top talent across multiple key business areas, ensuring a diverse and skilled candidate pool.

  • Proven experience in managing high-volume hiring: Demonstrated ability to efficiently handle large-scale recruitment processes, ensuring timely and effective hiring to meet business demands.

  • Exceptional partnership and collaboration skills: Fosters strong relationships and ensuring alignment with business goals and recruitment strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills: Proficient in conveying information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Open to a hybrid work setup: Flexibility to work in a combination of remote and in-office environments, adapting to the evolving needs of the workplace and maintaining productivity and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in conducting market research to understand talent availability: Demonstrated ability to analyze labor market trends and data to identify the availability of talent in specific industries or regions. This includes assessing competitor hiring practices, salary benchmarks, and the overall supply and demand for various skill sets to inform strategic recruitment decisions.

  • Background in generating and reporting talent acquisition metrics: Proven expertise in creating, analyzing, and presenting key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate quality. This involves using data to track the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to enhance the overall talent acquisition process.
