Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for litigation? A trailblazer in 1st party litigation is seeking a dedicated Trial Assistant to join their dynamic legal team. Located in the vibrant Orlando metro area, this organization prioritizes client care, employee well-being, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendaring and Scheduling: Efficiently manage and communicate specific and accurate data.

  • Legal Document Support: Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, motions, pleadings, notices of deposition, and more.

  • ️ Research: Conduct legal research to support proceedings and investigate facts for dispute resolution.

  • ️ E-Filing: Proficiently file in the Florida Courts e-Filing portal.

  • Data Management: Record, store, and monitor client information ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Software Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Filevine on a daily basis.

  • Audits: Complete audits of approximately 50-100 cases efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • ⚖️ Experience: Two years' of Civil Litigation experience (Insurance preferred).

  • Research Skills: Familiarity with legal research.

  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, and experience with the Florida E-filing portal.

  • Detail-oriented: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.

  • ✍️ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Adaptability: Deadline-oriented and adaptable to evolving tasks.

  • CMS Knowledge: Previous experience with Filevine or a similar CMS.

  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check.
