JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Oncology Cancer Clinic Lab - 31732 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 90% FTE, day shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center, in Madison, WI - our newest facility opening its doors in fall 2024. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: * Access central venous access devices for blood draws, and maintenance flushing. * Draw routine and research labs for patients seen in the Cancer Clinics, Hematology Clinics, and by Genetic Counselors. * Place peripheral IVs for patients using techniques to minimize pain and the latest technology to assist with selecting the best site for IV therapy. Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months of relevant experience Preferred - Relevant Inpatient RN experience, Ambulatory experience, Relevant oncology experience, Chemotherapy experience and Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. Current CPR/BLS certification.
