JOB REQUIREMENTS: Oncology Intake RN: Neuro-Oncology - 32361 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Description: Work Schedule : 100% FTE. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. You will be working primarily at University Hospital 100% FTE. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. You will be working primarily at University Hospital with occasional rotation to Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: * Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients. * Be the initial point of contact to patients coming into the UW Health system for cancer care. * Exhibit sound nursing judgement in decisions involved in the coordinating multiple, complex case management of patients requiring the care and services at the UW Health \| Carbone Cancer Center. * Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage and online patient portal. * Demonstrate clinical assessment expertise, triage expertise, and outstanding customer service throughout the interaction for both external and internal users. * Have preferred experience in neuro-oncology, radiation-oncology, oncology, and/or neurology experience.
