Position Summary

This role is responsible for the QC reviewing of analytical chemistry data. This role will be data review 75%-100% of the time on multiple data packets in a fast-paced environment. There is a possible opportunity to be in the lab performing analytical chemistry (HPLC, UV/VIS spectrophotometry) work in addition to the review work.

Candidates given best consideration will have the following qualifications:

• Previous experience with QC review work

• Experience with HPLC and UV/VIS spectrophotometry

• Experience with GLP regulations

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to multitask/be efficient in a fast-paced environment

The essential job duties are:

• Performs QC review of data.

• Organizes and conducts routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines

• Documents work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records

• Evaluates data for report preparation and experiment modification as directed.

• Plans individual workload in coordination with team member

• Assists in writing text for reports, methods or protocols

• Provides input and participates in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work

• Informs Study Director, Principal Investigator and/or management of any problems and/or deviations that may affect the integrity of the data and participates in corrective action of problems

• Assists in setting up and performing method development and validation of various analytes in a variety of matrices

• Participates in process improvement initiatives

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s in chemistry strongly preferred or Life Sciences degree

• GLP experience is preferred

• HPLC and UV/VIS spectrophotometry preferred

• Experience with QC review
