Job Description The Data Entry Specialist is a Full-Time, None-Exempt position on 1st shift located at our new Madison, WI laboratory. Individuals located within a driving distance of Madison are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Data entry of client submissions for chemistry testing Utilizesknowledge of food and supplements to assist clients\' testing needs Facilitates information flow between laboratory and customer service staff Utilizes the Laboratory Information System (NIMS) for most daily duties This role is part of our production process and is the first step in producing high quality results for clients Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Some post-secondary education (an Associate\'s degree or higher is preferable). Experience canbe substituted for education. Working knowledge of computers, software applications and other technology. An attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and good communication skills are important. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Other facts: Will be exposed to potential food allergens (ex. Milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc.). Overtime and weekend work as required.
