Job Description

The Estimator is responsible for estimating aerospace tooling labor and material costs of manufacturing and engineering based on request data submitted by prospective customers. The estimator is involved in preparing cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors.

Compensation:

115,000 to 130,000 annually

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Management.

3+ years of experience in estimating (preferably aerospace, defense, tooling, or automotive industries).

Experience in aerospace industry preferably in tooling or toolmaker experience.

Proficient in Negotiations and Conflict Resolution. Possess the ability to negotiate; resolve and problem solve program issues in a respectful, professional manner. null
