Aerotek Equipment Operator in Louisville, Kentucky

A company in downtown Louisville is looking for an experienced material handler who can operate material handling equipment. Forklift, combilift, lift trucks, or overhead crane experience is required for this position.

Shift: 6am-430pm Monday-Thursday, OT on Fridays

Pay: $16-$19, based on experience

Description:

  • Operating a Combi Lift

  • Dealing with material from 30ft to 42ft long, several hundred pounds

  • Driving skills and safety are top priority

  • Must have open mind to navigate several roles (utility)

  • Could be placed in any department (Shipping, Receiving, Production)

  • Loading and unloading flat bed trucks

  • Communication skills are needed as you will communicate with truck drivers

  • Loading material with overhead crane

  • Use levers and controls to operate lifting devices, hoists, beams with swivel hooks

  • Stage materials around production areas

  • Clean, lubricate, recharge equipment

  • Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production info on tags/labels

  • Manually load and unload materials
