As a Field Service Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support and service to our customers in the field. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting equipment installations and repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our designated field service location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service. This position will be based in Jonesboro, LA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preventive, Corrective, and Emergency maintenance of customer's Quality and Distributive Control Systems

  • Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems

  • Perform Sensor verification and Calibration

  • Write Monthly Performance and Results Reports

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to obtain basic certification in hardware and software in the first year of employment.

WE VALUE

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Electronics/Information Technology or equivalent Military Training.

  • 3+ years QCS experience

  • Experion experience a plus

  • Experience working in an industrial environment

  • Capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems

  • Capable of developing new PMS for existing and new products as knowledge is acquired

  • Capable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports

  • Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal

  • Capable of evaluating control effectiveness as knowledge is acquired

  • Capable of verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors

  • Knowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration

  • Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
