Health Advocates Network Patient Services Rep in Los Angeles, California

Health Advocates Network is hiring a Patient Services Representative (1 Year Exp Req) ! This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Los Angeles, CA.

  • Pay Rate: $23.50/hour

  • Shift: Days (5x8hrs)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • *COVID Vaccine Required *

Role Summary: As a member of the patient care team and the primary point of patient contact, the Patient Service Representative is responsible for positive patient relations, proper telephone communication, appointment scheduling, patient registration, as well as payment and co-payment collection. This position also performs routine duties associated with the collection and maintenance of current patient demographics and insurance information.

Patient Services Representative Qualification and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 1 year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting

  • Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications.?

  • EpicCare experience preferred
