Mileage: N/A
Hourly: 30.00
Weekly Mileage: N/A
Shift: M-F 08:00pm – 5:00pm , weekends if requested, needs flexibility
General Responsibilities
Coordinating the schedule of a shipping company or a group of drivers.
Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered into a log.
Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers.
Obtaining back-haul freight and dispatching OTR drivers.
Directing inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.
Negotiating and arranging transport of goods with shipping or freight companies.
Advising clients on transportation and payment methods.
Determining method of shipment and preparing bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
Tracking delivery progress of shipments.
Keeping records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
Requirements
+ + High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Basic computer skills
Detail oriented
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excel both as an individual and in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Professional, driven and results oriented
LTL , Local , and Linehaul Knowledge
Excellent time management Deadline driven thorough knowledge of the LTL and Linehaul
Works well with team and alone
Strong Knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area .
