Robert Half Grants Administration Supervisor in Los Angeles, California

Description

We are in need of a Grants Administration Supervisor for our non-profit organization based in the mid-Wilshire area. This role revolves around managing and processing donor-advised fund grant recommendations and discretionary grant-making. The position entails a vital focus on process improvement and special project management, making it a key role in our team. Previous experience managing staff is ideal.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and independently manage the processing of Donor Advised Fund grant recommendations.

• Maintain responsibility for annual discretionary grant-making.

• Manage nonstandard grant requests and anomalies related to grantmaking.

• Ensure grant requests comply with current IRS charitable giving guidelines and organization specific practices.

• Review grant check proof reports, grant checks, and award letters for accuracy.

• Be a primary contact for donor and grantee relations, providing technical assistance and grantmaking support.

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of new grants management and donor portal software.

• Gather information and make recommendations to improve grantmaking processes.

• Handle confidential information with complete discretion.

• Maintain effective work relationships by managing peer and management interactions in a positive, respectful, and collaborative manner.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Foundation Grants, Grant Administration, and Grant Management

• Proven track record in Grant Writing for both Private Grants and Foundation Grants

• Proficient in using software such as Razors Edge, Raiser's Edge, and Financial Edge

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced non-profit environment

• Must have a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
