Responsibilities include:

  • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping and waxing floors.

  • Washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, discarding trash in waste bins.

  • Clean, sanitize and reline all trash containers and linen hampers.

  • Wash and steam rubber floor mats.

  • Responsible for cleaning and proper storage of housekeeping equipment and report all equipment malfunctions to supervisor on duty.

  • Responsible for washing dishes, pans, utensils and small equipment according to established procedures.

  • Adhere to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures.

Position locations include: Alhambra, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Culver City, Encino, Irvine, Los Angeles, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, North Hollywood, Orange, Pasadena, Porter Ranch, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills Estates, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Valencia, Westlake Village and Woodland Hills.

Salary Range: $19.47 - $25.16 / hourly

  • Ability to read and write, follow oral and written instructions in English language.

  • Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time, stretch, stoop, bend, climb, and reach repetitively.

  • Ability to work in hot, cold and/or wet areas; lift 40 lbs and push/pull 350 lbs.

  • Knowledge in the use, disposal, and labeling of chemicals used in a food service setting.

  • Ability to conform to dress code and work in a non-smoking environment.

  • Ability to practice safe food handling techniques.

  • Ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and work schedule.

  • Interpersonal skills and interact effectively with co-workers, customers, asst. managers and managers
