Warehouse Worker
The following position is open in Loretto Kentucky , United States . This position will be based at the Maker's Mark distillery, which is approximately 20 miles south of Bardstown, KY.

Role Responsibilities
Filling and emptying of barrels
Handling full and empty barrels
Loading and unloading barrels from the warehouse and trucks using rickers, lowerators and rail trailers.
Maintaining and cleaning warehouse buildings and site

Track inventory locations and following pre-determined instructions for removing inventory
Loading barrels with forklift
Ability to fill out basic warehouse paperwork
Supports and adhere to the job requirements for the department with regards to Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and fully support the company IMS objectives and initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to handle heavy barrels (in excess of 500 lbs) by rolling and with use of machinery
Work environment consists of both hot and cold temperatures
Familiarity with physical labor
Ability to work with others in a group without supervision
High school graduate / GED
Self-starting
Works well in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license required
