Considering joining the growing Neurology department at St. John Medical Center in beautiful Longview, Washington. As a full-time Neurohospitalist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference in an underserved community and impact the development of Neurology services. PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing team of two physicians and one nurse practitioner. The ideal candidate will have provider experience in inpatient and/or outpatient Neurology with a strong desire to continue to grow their skillset with this busy hospital service.

New graduates are welcome to apply. This is a great opportunity for inpatient training mentorship, the first six months of onboarding will be with the Neurohospitalist department at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. With a 32-bed neuroscience floor, providing high-level evaluation and comfort in treating acute strokes, and lumbar punctures. Vancouver, Washington is forty minutes south of Longview, and just across the river from Portland, Oregon.

Highlights about the practice:

  • Practice: Mix of inpatient and general outpatient neurology, using EPIC EMR

  • Preferred Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday with limited call responsibility

  • Team: St. John Medical Center: two Physicians and one Nurse Practitioner

  • Team: Southwest Medical Center: four Physicians and one Nurse Practitioner

  • Comprehensive neurosurgical, neurointerventional, and neuroradiology services
