Major responsibilities

• Lend a hand to ensure a competent, trained staff through goal setting, regular assessment, and development

• Create accountability and the meeting of deliverables

• Additional duties as assigned

• Define and flourish process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency

• Formulate relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, key financial metrics, and the monthly flash report

• Sort out and construct Ad Hoc financial reports

• Be instrumental in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting

• Administer regular account reconciliation to completion

• Compose diverse procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses

• Backfill for Controller as provided

• Aid implementation and guarantee adherence to accounting policies and procedures

• Forward-thinking preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits

• Provide assistance to the accounting team during the closing process to make certain deadlines are met Requirements

• Solid understanding of month end closings

• CPA licensure and Healthcare industry a must

• 7+ years of general ledger accounting experience

• Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

• Strong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
