Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the bustling city of Long Beach, California. You will play a significant role in our team, handling tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP), data entry, QuickBooks, coding invoices, and using Microsoft Excel in an industry that demands high attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.

• Input data efficiently while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of information.

• Leverage QuickBooks software for various accounting tasks and financial management.

• Code invoices correctly to ensure proper categorization and recording of expenses.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate reports, analyze data, and present financial information.

• Regularly update and maintain customer records to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions based on account status.

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure all financial transactions and processes comply with company policies and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrable experience in Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
