Team/Role Overview

Specialised Agency is a key product segment for Citi’s Issuer Services business. We focus on the execution and implementation of escrow and account bank/custody transactions for clients on a global basis. Issuer Services is part of Citi’s Securities Services division which provides global institutional clients with a wide range product solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Execute and manage client transactions through review, negotiation and execution of relevant documentation in relation to Specialised Agency transactions e.g. escrow agreements, account bank agreements, custody agreements and pledge documentation.

  • Manage a portfolio of transactions and act as a focal point for allocated clients.

  • Ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of transactions including cash and custody account opening and the establishment of internet banking arrangements.

  • Ensure all appropriate approvals are in place prior to deal closure including KYC, Deal Review, sanctions screening and other approvals

  • Participate in Deal Review meetings as appropriate

  • Build and develop internal and external client relationships and provide support to Sales on new business prospects as required

  • Ensure revenue generation via accurate invoicing

  • Liaise with Operations teams regarding the implementation of new transactions as required

What we’ll need from you

  • Working knowledge of Specialised Agency transactions desirable.

  • Understanding of transaction documentation and deal execution and/or legal experience.

  • General banking experience advantageous.

  • Strong transaction management/execution and negotiation skills.

  • Strong administrative skills.

  • Ability to prioritise.

  • Strong communication skills.
