Our technology supports health care systems, hospitals, GPs and community services to be the best they can be and to deliver connected, safe care.As a System Engineer in our Support Services team in London, you will play a key role in the troubleshooting and the tasks you perform will help businesses be more efficient and provide a better service to our clients.Support Services is a team dedicated to ensure the optimal performance of Cerner Millennium applications through 24x7x365 proactive monitoring, management and quick problem resolution. The Support Services team stands ready to provide direct and continuous support for the day-to-day operational management of Oracle Cerner applications.As a System Engineer, you will perform complex solution-related service request investigations, incident resolutions, application maintenance and be primarily responsible for providing troubleshooting support. In this role you will be required to have significant involvement in client communication, working with the Millennium Support Engineers, and IP Development personnel.

Responsibilities

You will work in a team environment to provide functional and technical expertise to our clients

  • Work on service requests where you will be performing troubleshooting in front- and backend applications

  • Communicate effectively to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Document notes, activities, resolutions, and other knowledge articles throughout the lifecycle of an investigation

  • Priorities work based on severity and urgency

  • Participate in on-call rotation

  • Maintaining interfaces like registration/scheduling (ADT/SIU), Orders (ORM), Results (ORU), Document (MDM/ORU)

  • Support Interface monitoring and post go-live maintenance

  • Analyse and ad-hoc scripts to resolve issues
