About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team. With a minimum of 3 years of proven track record in product management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our recently launched generative AI tool, Scopus AI. As part of the Scopus AI team, you will initially work closely with the Principal Product Manager to gain a solid understanding of the industry, product, technology, and team dynamics.

Given the fast-paced growth expected in the Scopus AI business, we are looking to expand our team by adding a new Product Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly evolving market and help drive our growth initiatives.

In this newly created position, your ability to swiftly adapt to evolving customer needs and technological advancements will be crucial. Your strong cross-functional leadership skills will contribute to accelerating product development and driving successful go-to-market strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing the product strategy, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans, and overseeing their successful implementation.

Main responsibilities

  • E xecute the overall Scopus AI product strategy .

  • Understand customer and business needs and p rioritize which features and improvements to work on accordingly.

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment s across various internal teams .

  • Represent the team in internal meetings and customer conferences .

    Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, demonstrating a successful track record of driving business growth.

  • Proven ability to thrive in an agile environment, effectively managing uncertainties. Experience working in a startup is highly desirable.

  • Genuine interest in supporting the scientific community and understanding their unique needs.

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in the industry, including generative AI, would be advantageous .

  • Demonstrated experience in executing product strategies, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans.

  • Strong background in customer discovery methodologies, with a focus on understanding customer pain points and delivering solutions.

  • Experience supporting go-to-market (GTM) execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and driving cross-functional alignment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of representing the team and effectively conveying product vision and strategy.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, utilizing data-driven insights and experiments to inform decision-making.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization, navigating complex stakeholder relationships and executing projects successfully.
