As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you own a high-visibility, novel space within Amazon to enhance how conversational shopping experiences help customers complete their shopping journey. You will define the strategy and build net new experiences in collaboration with different orgs across Amazon. After defining the strategy, you will work with dedicated engineering and science teams and UX designers to bring your strategy to life. You will manage the end to end product lifecycle from conception, to CX definition, delivery, and optimization.

As the right candidate, you excel at handling ambiguity, bring strong bias for action, the ability use data to inform strategy and create new solutions that deliver results. Being able to earn trust of others and develop strong partnerships with teams from multiple orgs is a must. You can crisply convey your idea in written narratives. You are a proven big thinker and collaborator who flourishes in an agile organization. You are driven to launch and take deep satisfaction in seeing your products ship, scale, and make a measurable impact on the people who use them. You have a strong track-record working with engineers, and you routinely earn the respect of your technical peers through your ability to grasp technical challenges and trade-offs.

Key job responsibilities

· Define the product vision

· Own the product roadmap

· Work closely with customer research, UX, marketing, legal, international partners, and your dedicated engineering team to deliver features in your space.

· Define and own business and feature metrics for customer engagement and operational reliability

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years product management · Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline, or equivalent experience · Demonstrated experience shipping commercially successful consumer products to global market segments · Superior communication skills, written and verbal. Experience presenting to C-level leadership · Strong track record building and leading high-performing teams · Experience managing complex product development cycles and highly technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA with BS or higher in Computer Science or related field · Strong analytical and quantitative skills · Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
