IBM Service Solution Workshop Designer in London, United Kingdom

Introduction

The Service Solutions Workshop Designer is a core IBM Designer role. They are responsible for applying IBM Design Thinking during workshop engagements with IBM Services partners. They will be part of the core squads deployed in the targeted Markets to work with top Gold and Platinum Service partners to develop repeatable solutions and managed services around IBM technology.

The Service Solutions Workshop Designer will be assessed on the adoption of IBM Hybrid Cloud and AI technologies across IBM's Service Partners. This role will require significant collaboration with IBM Ecosystem Leaders, IBM Brand teams and IBM Research. You will work alongside a highly cohesive, fast paced and outcome oriented global team.

A successful candidate in this role will:

Utilize IBM Design Thinking, Agile, DevOps, Scrum, and Analytics skills.

Leverage IBM Design Methodology, frameworks and tools to provide guidance to sponsors, stakeholders, and Partners on joint GTM viability, new solution design, and communicate a comprehensive business case & value proposition.

Employ Interactive engagement techniques to draw out client concerns, identify pertinent facts, and develop recommendations.

Demonstrate leadership qualities and behaviors in dealing with individuals and multi-functional teams of Partner and IBM Teams.

Showcase Design domain expertise in providing thought leadership and advisory tailored to the Partners needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive the Services Solution Workshop engagement with assigned partners.

  • Accountable for the successful design of IBM Technology-based solutions and services with assigned Partners.

  • Work with the Solutions Offering manager and Contribute to the decision analysis to help Partners make the right determination around solution or services viability and user experience.

  • Work with the Solutions Offering manager and Provide the required support to bring together business, industry, Partner knowledge and IBM competencies and solution offerings to meet identified needs.

  • Facilitate squad activities during the engagement from developing empathy maps, developing story mapping, prioritization, estimation, road mapping, product brainstorming and evolving business model canvases.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Several years of experience in Design Thinking.

  • Few years of experience with Design research.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Consulting experience
