At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Android Security and Privacy team is responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of Android users and their devices around the world. One of the team’s core responsibilities is to deliver features and policies that prevent devices from installing and running abusive and fraudulent apps. To achieve this, we are working on Android Safety Labels and Background Install Control.

As a Product Manager, you will drive the product outlook and roadmap. You will involve a cross-functional effort with the Privacy Sandbox team among others. In addition, you will participate in other platform-wide efforts to introduce Platform features to address pressing malware challenges in Android as well as help with the Security and Privacy UI.

Android is Google’s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Android is about bringing computing to everyone in the world. We believe computing is a super power for good, enabling access to information, economic opportunity, productivity, connectivity between friends and family and more. We think everyone in the world should have access to the best computing has to offer. We provide the platform for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and developers to build compelling computing devices (smartphones, tablets, TVs, wearables, etc) that run the best apps/services for everyone in the world.

  • Work with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and work closely with engineering on execution.

  • Develop and secure buy-in for a product outlook that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.

  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders and measure success.

  • Build a product roadmap from market trends, user and partner needs, technology bets and Google/Android wide initiatives. Work closely with OEM partners on device integration of security features.

  • Work across the Android organization to ensure that security experiences carry consistently across different parts of Android.
