About the Role:

The Team:

The corporate actions presales team is a dedicated, revenue-driven team responsible for client-facing activity within the Market Intelligence, Enterprise Solutions business line. We are responsible for increasing the adoption of our industry-leading suite of software, data, and managed service offerings across both new and existing clients within the EMEA.

Responsibilities and Impact:

In partnership with the global sales, commercial and product teams, the candidate will be guided to establish a smooth onboarding/client experience strategy to your remit. The role requires a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication/presentation skills and resilience. The expectation is to know corporate actions to help in establishing the value proposition of the product, offering recommendations through formal presentations and written proposals, and working with the cross-functional team to negotiate and close product / solution-based engagements.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate understanding of the S&P Corporate Actions suite of services and work collaboratively with the salesperson to position and communicate a value proposition that solves customer’s business challenges.

  • Provide detailed demos across S&P CA solutions and manage relationships.

  • Responsible for onboarding of all new clients from post signature till go-live.

  • Assist sales specialist with documentation for clients (proposal docs, pricing, technical specs, file formats, etc.)

  • Participate in team building and company growth activities including strategy setting, training, marketing efforts and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.  Graduate degree strongly preferred.

  • Candidates will have min of 3+ years of corporate actions subject matter expertise within operations, product, and technology.

  • Extensive experience in financial markets with a strong focus on operations and corporate actions.

  • Have the credibility and capability to work at the highest level within an organisation to develop new business and relationships.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with financial services clients.

  • Experience working internally with multiple teams.
