EMEA Account Manager (Reinsurance)

Aon are currently recruiting an Account Manager to join our EMEA reinsurance team in London.

The Account Manager – EMEA will be a client facing role, primarily responsible for the technical and administrative support of EMEA business, working closely with account executives and client teams in the placing and servicing of reinsurance placements.

What the day will look like

Your impact as an Account Manager – EMEA:
  • Working in partnership with the account executive and client team in the marketing of reinsurance placements, involving communication with clients, reinsurers and colleagues from regional Aon offices.

  • Generation and review of contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements and evidence of cover, ensuring that they satisfy requirements for all contracting parties.

  • The production of client and market submissions and presentations, including collection and analysis of data.

  • Monitoring of placements, recording progress and providing regular updates.

  • The resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers, involving liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.

  • The population and maintenance of data within Aon’s IT systems.

  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any group company.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    As an Account Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • To be educated to A Level standard, with either Market experience or Degree standard education or equivalent.

  • Good technical understanding of Reinsurance preferred and a willingness to learn.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Language: English at business level.

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively.

  • The ability to work well as part of a team.

  • An excellent attention to detail.

  • Good level of numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • To demonstrate integrity and professionalism.

  • A competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

  • An ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to. ·
