The role will report into Amex GBT Egencia’s Head of Business Planning. You’ll be a key part of our annual and quarterly planning processes, helping us to prioritise what we do and when, including through consulting-style engagements. You will also help to keep teams across Amex GBT Egencia up to date on our priorities and performance.

What you'll go:

  • Support Egencia Head of Business Planning to define our annual plan, including:

  • Working with leadership to define annual objectives and key results, in line with our strategy

  • Leading strategic qualitative and quantitative analysis to support business planning considering financial, operational and strategic dimensions

  • Partnering with teams across Amex GBT Egencia to define and prioritise plans to achieve our goals

  • Partnering with finance to ensure our business plans and financial forecasts align

  • Deliver and refine our business planning governance

  • Owning our annual planning calendar and logistics

  • Working with cross functional stakeholders to ensure we effectively manage dependencies across teams

  • Finding opportunities to increase effectiveness in our processes

  • Create awareness amongst our teams about our business priorities, and our performance against them

  • Working with Head of Business Planning to deliver and refine our leadership performance management rhythm

  • Partnering with internal comms to define and deliver our communication strategy, including through engaging company All Hands updates

  • You will also support us to track performance versus plans across financial, operational and strategic metrics

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent understanding of strategy, performance management and financial principles.

  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights and mobilise this into action.

  • Ability to independently frame, scope and implement strategic analysis; and own recommendations to leadership.

  • Detail and solution oriented with a strategic approach and ability to balance short-term priorities and long-term goals in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience effectively delivering complex projects or operational rhythms with multiple workstreams and dependencies.

  • Effective communicator, an expert storyteller with experience delivering leadership materials and facilitating leadership sessions. Able to influence and motivate stakeholders across the organization, at varying levels of seniority. A great candidate must be able to quickly build and manage relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, communicate complex concepts clearly, and work in a matrix environment across multiple geographies and functional areas.

  • Self-motivated, agile and collaborative.
