Philips Indirect Tax Expert in Lodz, Poland

Job Posting Description

Coordinate Indirect Tax and compliance processes within an organization, being responsible for VAT-related matters in one of the EMEA regions. Develop your tax knowledge and soft skills by acting as an independent expert within a team.

Your role:

  • Indirect Tax review and approval for assigned countries.

  • Managing Internal Controls over the Indirect Tax process, including monitoring the quality of VAT account reconciliation

  • Supporting internal and external audits and projects within Philips organization as subject matter expert.

  • Support of 3rd party service providers involved in the VAT compliance process, ongoing cooperation with Indirect Tax Manager EMEA and Country Chief Accountant as well as with external and internal counterparties within VAT function.

You're the right fit if:

  • A University degree in Finance or equivalent is required.

  • At least 3 years of progressive work experience in managing VAT compliance on a country level.

  • Up to standard knowledge of the VAT directive.

  • Fluent communication skills in English (both oral and written) are required. Other European languages are welcome.

  • Knowledge of/ expertise in internal controls, controlling, project management, and administrative organization.

  • SAP, IFRS knowledge & advanced Excel skills will be an asset.
